Horien Multi-Purpose Solution is intended for: lens storing, cleaning, disinfection, hydrating, rinsing, removing protein and other deposits. Two ways of cleaning and disinfection: 1. NO RUB – cleaning without rinsing or rubbing. The lenses should be left in a closed lens case for the night or at least for 6 hours. 2. Cleaning, rinsing and rubbing for a couple of minutes. The lenses should be rubbed softly for about 10 seconds and then left in the solution for at least 5 minutes. Horien Multi-Purpose Solution comprises as many as six active components, as opposed to a great deal of other solutions available on the market, which are composed of 1, 2 or 4 ingredients. One could ask: does the number of ingredients in a contact lenses solution matter at all? Of course it does! And what’s more – it is crucial. Each component of the solution plays a specific role. E.g. the boric acid keeps an appropriate PH level, the codium chloride influences the proper salinity, poloxamine removes deposits, etc. One component in a lens solution is unable to perform all those functions and therefore it is so important to pay attention to the number of active ingredients.
